The title of this post is actually a question that I received recently by email. Many people have asked me that exact same thing time and time again. People are forever confused about the difference between a premonition and psychic ability. They are also taken back by the psychic experiences they do have always being so negative.

Lets dive right in… Are Premonitions and psychic ability the same thing? The answer is a big fat YES. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines premonition as: anticipation of an event without conscious reason. The same dictionary defines the word psychic as: sensitive to nonphysical or supernatural forces and influences.

I believe that for most people who do not make a life out of being psychic, like I do, they tend not to label psychic happenings as psychic, they choose to label those happenings as premonitions. It’s easier to believe that “Normal” people have premonitions while only crystal ball wearing, tarot card turning, palm reading crazy’s are psychic.
