Are premonitions the same thing as psychic ability? If so, how come I only have BAD ones?

The title of this post is actually a question that I received recently by email. Many people have asked me that exact same thing time and time again. People are forever confused about the difference between a premonition and psychic ability. They are also taken back by the psychic experiences they do have always being so negative.

Lets dive right in… Are Premonitions and psychic ability the same thing? The answer is a big fat YES. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines premonition as: anticipation of an event without conscious reason. The same dictionary defines the word psychic as: sensitive to nonphysical or supernatural forces and influences.

I believe that for most people who do not make a life out of being psychic, like I do, they tend not to label psychic happenings as psychic, they choose to label those happenings as premonitions. It’s easier to believe that “Normal” people have premonitions while only crystal ball wearing, tarot card turning, palm reading crazy’s are psychic. The real truth is that everyone who has the ability to love also has the ability to be psychic.

Dark, self centered, narcissistic individuals unable of giving or receiving love only transmit information via their ego. The rest of us who are always searching for answers in life while loving and learning from each other, are able to perceive information from the same place we originally came from – GOD.

The word Psychic is actually Greek in origin and means: “of the soul“. There are many ways to look at premonitions if you don’t believe in psychic ability. Some evolutionists even like to think of it as a sort of evolved natural attunement of the brain, that after thousands of years has almost gone dead as a lack of not needing it anymore. Others say it is the work of the devil. I of-course know it to be nothing more than the same type of “awareness” I experience everyday.

Psychic ability is nothing more than the ability to perceive a higher frequency or vibration in the environment around us. That’s it, nothing fancy at all. Just simply put, a premonition is a “flash” of psychic ability. Now that we know that psychic perception and premonitions are the same thing, lets talk about why people are always having negative premonitions.

To answer this question we must first understand the speed of vibration and its relevance to the earth. Here on earth, unlike Heaven or what I call the Other Side, we are existing in a state of negativity. This negativity allows us to physically experience and gain education and knowledge, unlike on the Other Side where we are in a state of perfection. In a perfect environment you can learn from a book all about the negative happenings but until your actually in an environment where the lightening can strike your very flesh, you will never truly know what it is like. In other words, you learn nearly nothing in a perfect environment but you can accelerate the learning process by experiencing the negative directly. You’ve heard the saying: “What doesn’t kill you will only make you stronger”. That’s what life is all about.

So we live in a state of negativity and yes, this is for your benefit. Of-course the draw back to living in a negative atmosphere is that, unlike in a perfect environment, nothing is under control. The emotions are raw, the thoughts are reckless and the constant battle is underway to help become more in control of them. In a perfect environment, like that of the Other Side, everything is held in a constant state of love and knowledge. There is no impulsiveness, no unthought-about reactions occurring.

So it makes sense then to understand that all things including thoughts are vibrations, and if you release these vibrations in a negative environment, they will most likely become absorbed by someone sooner or later. Since negativity in this environment travels so much faster than positive vibrations, we can assume that most people who are not in-control of their minds sixth sense, will absorb and become conscious of the negative vibrations way more than the positive ones.

It’s all about awareness and control, the basic lessons of life. Apply these lessons to your mind and you will begin to control the constant bombardment of negative premonitions. You’ll start having more and more positive ones as you align your mind and your receptivity to the positive wavelengths of God and the perfection of the Other Side.

Meditation, knowledge, learning and constantly reaffirming positive thoughts about yourself will start you off on a path of less and less negative psychic experience. Don’t take my word for it, try it and see for yourself!

The Reality Of A Psychic Reading

My clients and those close to me know that my advise is always connected to the big questions about life, death and the Other Side. I am not one of those psychics who dishes out advise about what rock you should be wearing around your neck or whether the sea-salt your putting in your laundry has been effectively rinsing out the negativity in your life. I am probably one of the most down to earth, non-psychic – psychics you’ll ever meet. I have never bought into the smoke and mirrors effect of the psychic world. I try to be as non-mystical, non-indigo and non whatever else is out there being used to describe psychics. I hate to see all these psychics in the world scrambling to identify with the most “Powerful” words out there. The bottom line is, if you believe in something then it has power and if you don’t, then it doesn’t. Period.

Most of my clients are those who have usually before me, never had a psychic reading. I enjoy people who are skeptical because I believe skepticism can be healthy. I don’t in any way, cater to those individuals I refer to as psychic junkies. I stop that garbage before it ever starts. I only allow my clients to see me one time every twelve months. Yep, that’s right, only one time a year! That’s all anyone ever needs. I should not be used to find out if the married man your seeing is going to be leaving his wife to finally start a life with you. Or, if taking a bath with an egg floating in the water will remove the curse that someone placed on you. Really people?? Really??

First of all, there is absolutely NO such a thing as a curse. The only person who can put a curse on you is YOU! Secondly, if the man your seeing after 11 years still hasn’t left his wife… IT AIN’T GONNA HAPPEN!  Life is about creating, its about design and blood, sweat and tears also. You must MAKE your life happen. You can’t just wait on everything (and everyone), otherwise you’ll be waiting until you die.

I remember the first time I was apart of a psychic fair, all the “psychics” had little tables set up around the room and there they spoke with a client while turning over tarot cards or casting ruins. The first thought running through my mind was “What the hell is going on here?” How was I supposed to provide an intimate quiet moment of healing with any kind of privacy? To say the least, I outgrew that experience very quickly. I know there are some honest psychics trying to make a living at these psychic fairs but for the most part it is a way to bring everyone’s wallet to the same place. Not my idea of a spiritually healing environment. Many psychics I’ve known have more mental illness than you could find at the local psychiatric hospital. As a client, you MUST be careful. The big majority of psychics I’ve found are just clinging to an opportunity to feel self-worth. They want to help someone soooo bad that they cant stand it. Trust your gut and go by referral only and please don’t trust your friends referral who has been to 37 psychics this month!

Dependency on a psychic reading is also a very bad thing. Having a consultation with a reputable psychic should open the doors to new realizations and provide you with answers to the questions that help make you a better person. Psychics who repeatedly see the same client several times a week, a month or even a year are doing nothing but taking advantage of the situation and in no way are they helping the client to stand on their own. I’ve had psychics say to me that they can’t fully help a client after just one reading. First of all, a psychic should not be taking the place of a qualified therapist. If your client needs daily or weekly consultations just to function in the world, then they need those consultations to be with a mental health professional and not a psychic. Yes, it is possible as a psychic to help someone in just one visit, I do it all the time. Only in regards to those clients I work with that are nearing the end of their lives, do I see more often. I never limit the number of times I will consult with someone who is dying, but I will not keep others from living their lives by keeping them dependent on my services.

So many of the people I come across are completely consumed with whether the stars are in the right place for them to begin their lives. So wasteful! Your life is happening now. Right now. You must realize that the seconds ticking away even as your reading this blog post are now behind you and there is no way to get them back. Time is also moving quickly and its all we can do to simply keep up. Don’t sit there hoping that one day your desires will manifest. Psychic readings can be miraculously life changing, but they don’t do the work for you.

No Regrets – 5 Words That Will Make You A Better Person

~Honesty

~Unwavering

~Magnetism

~Bountiful

~Luminous

~Exemplary

Five words, one amazing key to unlocking your potential. Together they spell HUMBLE and this one word can serve as a constant reminder of the state we should find ourselves in as often as possible. The opposite of humble is ego and ego can interfere in our lives and destroy, as well as cloud our vision. There is a way to live your live, a universal way which any person can adopt and become better for doing so. While at the same time, using it to pave the road ahead towards the least amount of regret.

This guidance comes in the form of five words which collectively describe the opposite of ego. These five words are Honesty, Unwavering, Magnetic, Bountiful, Luminous, and Exemplary. They are a road map and a reminder of they way to minimize regret and repeated failure. They are very generous words and even more generous as ideals.

~Honesty.  The obvious idea here is that one should not be telling lies. However, that lesson is easily learned, provided you have been caught in one and have at least a small conscious, you should know rather quickly that being dishonest is not a valuable trait. I am not speaking about the obvious though. I want you to dig deeper here and truly define honesty in every aspect of your life. Sometimes this means identifying with the less desirous side of who we are. Acknowledging both the positive and negative aspects of ourselves is key to really telling the truth. Be honest with yourself about EVERYTHING and you will be more honest with others as a result.

~Unwavering.  Steady, consistent, determined, dedicated. All these words describe what it means to be unwavering. In life there will be times when you feel as though the effort required is simply too much to bear. There will be times when giving up or settling seems far easier… and it usually is. However, there is only one way to the top and that is to keep climbing. One sure way exists to minimize the realization of regret once your life has come to an end, and that is to be unwavering in your efforts. Simply waking up in the morning is an achievement for me some days. I am not about giving up and rarely accept compromise into my life. I want that moment, that amazingly monumental moment at the end of my life when I’m standing on the Other Side knowing without a doubt that I tried… everyday.

~Magnetism.  This word can be defined as: “possessing an extraordinary ability to attract.” The question I hear the most in my practice is: “Why is this happening to me?”  The answer I give out: “Because you attracted it.” The statement I receive back from the client never changes either. “NO I DIDN’T!!!!” Again I reassure them, oh yes, you did. It can sound like the most cruel and down right evil answer to a person who is dying of a terminal illness or to a survivor of rape or any other tragedy. However, there is a reason for everything in life, even the bad stuff. People have a very hard time understanding that the only and I repeat only reason we are here on this earth is to learn. Unfortunately the most valuable of educations come with a price. Perspective is the key here. You must be honest with yourself about the education you are receiving as a result of the experience at hand. Bankruptcy, broken arm, the loss of a child, cancer, it doesn’t matter, you must start with honesty and then become unwavering in your efforts to perceive the available education. Once you open your mind to the idea of healing by way of learning, you begin to turn your magnetic ability up a notch. The proper mindset and perspective will cause you to attract understanding and wisdom. You are always given the opportunity to become better from your challenges. Each “issue” in your life is a chance to gain a piece of knowledge to take with when you leave. You will pull towards you what you need and you will most likely continue to do this until you have formed the proper mindset regarding your circumstances. Don’t hate the world or yourself when tragedy strikes. Be honest with yourself about why this is in your life and then become unwavering in your efforts to gain proper perspective so you can turn around and help someone else.

~Bountiful.  All people are bountiful even if what they are harboring is as dark as the night. However, even those individuals who offer nothing but negativity, can still be of value to the rest of us. This is an area where excess is a good thing. For those of us who have love and light to give, hopefully we have more of it than we can contain, this way the overflow is a blessing to others. In regards to the dark sided individuals, well, I’ll go ahead and thank you now for providing me with ways to become a stronger and more resilient individual. Remember the earlier comment about perspective???? Being bountiful with your blessings is a for sure way to reduce the regret that none of us want. Spread the love! If you don’t have enough to give out, it’s because your your not being honest and unwavering in your efforts to learn. After all, sharing knowledge is one way to spread the love.

~Luminous.  You would probably guess that the meaning of the word luminous has to do with being bright. You wouldn’t be far from the truth except for one tiny detail. Where does that light or brightness come from? A definition of the word luminous is, “Emitting light, especially emitting self-generated light.” Self generated light, what a marvelous concept. You can spend your whole life trying to be someone else but that would just be a waste of who you already are. Illuminate the person who you really are, the person who does not make excuses to the world because their personal truths are different from others. You deserve to shine your own light! Again, be honest about who you are so that the light you own can be a pure bright original source of guidance for others. What a terrible regret to be bed bound near the end of your life having to die with the feeling that you were never seen for who you truly are. You must illuminate yourself, otherwise no one can see you.

~Exemplary. Need I say more? This one can definitely be taken at face value and who better to provide as an example to others than an Honest, Unwavering, Magnetic, Bountiful, Luminous, Humble person than yourself.

Death & Dying The Psychic Way

Most of us can expect to die in a hospital or a nursing home of sorts. The main role which is played out by the people working in these institutions is:  help find a cure, or if the patient is terminal, try and keep them as comfortable as possible until the end. It seems that these professionals become accustomed to equating the administration of drugs to the comfort of the patient. Of-course drug therapy is necessary and effective for many individuals nearing the end of their lives, but it is not the only way for a professional to provide comfort for a dying person.

Loved ones also find themselves at a loss in regards to how they should provide comfort and support for a dying family member. Many friends and relatives use the excuse that they would just be getting in the way of the doctors or nurses. This is their best attempt to avoid the dying. Sometimes flowers and cards are as close as anyone can get to making a physical effort of support.

The medical community seems to be infected with a determination to keep us alive longer and longer. They constantly push themselves to expand the human lifespan and engineer two more seconds of life for our hearts, livers, and lungs. They seem to forget about the whole of the picture as they stay focused on certain specifics. No matter the level of expertise or how much more life can be artificially given to us, we deserve to be found by those around us as deserving of attention and love on a very personal level.

I see so many people who after a life lived full of determination and will, amount to a pile of needles and tubing, sanitizing foam and handfuls of pills. Not only is this picture a sad one, I also find it to be missing the point entirely. The cycle seems to be one where the families are left wandering from place to place throughout and after the dying process. First to the doctor then to the chaplain then to the funeral director and finally to an empty home where they are left alone with more questions than answers. The families are left with all the “what ifs” and the loved one who died was most likely never given a chance to find or feel a sense of purpose and completion. Dying is not simple, but it is irreversible and permanent so preparation is the key.

I want you to think what it would mean for you to acquire the knowledge that you are not going to live. What would it mean to know that you are going to die? At first, gone is the desire for possessions and future planning. There are no goals to achieve, no power to be had and no use for touting authority. Suddenly there is a complete and total internalization of what life is or better yet, what life was. The sense of inevitable detachment is overwhelming and you begin to fade into and out the not so clear picture of what is yet to come. Regrets are more real and close to your heart than ever before. There is also a huge question mark developing in regards to every thing you do, say, touch and think about. Suddenly the future is no more tangible than a ride to mars.

The family members of the dying also go through many of the same realizations except for one significant difference, they run the risk of living with regrets. So many of the people I speak with bring to me their guilt and regret about the choices made during the last days of their loved ones life. They say, now they know they should have done things differently. Most of the guilt and worry comes from the thought of having done more for their loved one, things would have turned out better. I believe it to be very important to point out that EVERYTHING happens for a reason. Every realization, every thought, every action, every disease, every birth and every death all happen just as they are supposed to.

The best way we learn to die well is by learning to live well. It is difficult but not impossible to learn even on a death bed. I help people learn to live while they are dying and that is what gives me joy as a psychic doing Gods work. When you only have a year, six months or less to live and you meet me, the first common goal we establish is to get you living life. I want you to live through your own death. I want to prove to you that there is no such thing as ceasing to exist. I have an advantage over a therapist or a doctor because I can feel thoughts and see feelings. I am also able to answer the big questions about God and the Other Side, but me answering questions about where you go after you die is such a small part of what I do. The bigger reason for me being with a dying individual is about their ability to find the life that exists in death.

Psychic For Seniors

Posted on : 01-02-2010 | By : thedyingpsychic.com | In : My Life With The Dying, Working as a Psychic

I buy the Sunday paper mostly so I can clip coupons. Contrary to popular belief I am not rich and so I enjoy saving money just like anyone else. This last Sunday paper however, came with a front page story which I could not ignore. Titled “Seniors For Sale” a picture of an elderly man with massive black and purple bruises covering his body was on the front page of the Seattle Times.

It’s an industry that I have heard very little about but have had similar topics come up in readings with clients. You might ask what a psychic has to do with the exploitation of seniors? Well, in order to answer that you must first understand what exactly I do as a psychic. If you are familiar with my work then you already know I am consumed with the issues of death and dying. I work directly with those individuals who are nearing the end of their lives to help them prepare for their journey from this side to the next. It is of-course natural that I would also come across individuals who are dealing with every aspect of the aging and dying process, including the care of seniors. The people I speak with and read for are the parents of dying children, the wives of dying husbands, the children of dying parents and so on and so forth.

Everyone wants to know that their loved one is being given the best care around regardless of available financial resources. It is then one of the most nightmarish moments in any one’s life to find out that your loved one was abused by the same people you are entrusting their care to. Abuse is disgusting and the sale of vulnerable, frail seniors as though they are a commodity is absolutely mortifying. The story that made front page news went on to read that “The Times uncovered accounts of elderly victims who were imprisoned in their rooms, roped into their beds at night, strapped to chairs during the day so they wouldn’t wander off, drugged into submission or left without proper medical treatment for weeks.” In one home there was a worker who handed a lit cigarette to a resident who was connected to an oxygen tank, setting off a fiery explosion!

As a psychic, a human, and a person who even on their worst day has half a heart, I am disgusted beyond belief but the abuse is only part of the problem. You see, the homes where these seniors live are actually private residences which go from buyer to buyer. They are sold, seniors and all to the highest bidder. There are even placement services that work for kickbacks, thousands of dollars at a time for each senior they place into one of these private residences. Now, I cannot escape the fact that at some point in my life, God forbid, one of those seniors might be me. Why cant we all take just a minute to mentally and emotionally place ourselves in someone else’s shoes? If we stopped for just one second to genuinely and sincerely think about how we would feel, the whole world would be a different place.

As a psychic, my place in this whole mess is as a guide for the living in response to and prevention of, the guilt and regret that exists after these events take place. I am not without tears of my own when a client brings such repulsive stories to a reading. As I always tell those clients who are so concerned with the end result of their choices, feeling as though they were the cause of someones condition; you must look at the intent and not the end result when judging your own efforts. Intention is a matter of the heart. It is only with true and totally positive intent that we can know for sure we were free from blame in the first place. 99% of us do not make decisions out of spite, we do not do things with the real intention of hurting someone else. Therefore when the end result is less than desirable, we must remember that we did mean well in the first place and all events, good and bad are in our lives for nothing less than the opportunity to gain knowledge. After all, knowledge and wisdom are one of the few things that go with you when you die, which makes them some of the most valuable.

If you know of a senior who is suffering from abuse or neglect regardless of the circumstance please contact the National Center On Elder Abuse.
